The Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established in 2010 by the REDHORSE Association for the purpose of providing financial assistance to our members and their families wishing to attend an accredited institution of higher learning to better their future educational goals. This scholarship program is supported entirely by funds set aside for the sole purpose of this program.

A candidate is eligible to apply for this scholarship program if:

  • The applicant is a member of or an immediate family member of a member in good standing of the REDHORSE Association. (Family members include; a son, daughter, step son, step daughter, adopted son, adopted daughter, grandson, granddaughter or spouse).
  • Applicant is at least a high school graduate, has their GED or college freshman.
  • Applicant has maintained at least a C (or numeric equivalent) grade.

The number and amount of scholarships presented annually will be determined by the REDHORSE Association Board of Directors and based on availability of funds. Scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate, certificate or technical students who are planning to attend or are attending an accredited institution of higher learning. Scholarships will be in the individuals name, however all awards will be paid directly to the enrolled recipient (s) academic institution on their behalf.
